My papaw and I a couple years before he passed away. I don’t think of him as much as I used to, but when I do it still hits me just as hard. I’m thankful to have ran into this picture, I only had one of us together, but I think this one might be my favorite. To find this has brightened my day. I can only hope I would have made him proud.
Not a holiday goes by that he’s not thought of and mourned for. Every now and again I’ll meet a little old man that will remind me so much of him and my heart swells.
